*** Chapman holds-off Legion

Chapman came back to beat legion 3-2 in a fantastic duel between 2 of the leagues top aces.  Legion struck first, scoring 2 runs in the first inning.  Chapman responded with 2 of their own.  Sweet Feet Roberts settled down after the first, throwing and 85 pitch complete game to hold The Legion of Doom to 2 runs.  Nico the Velvet Fog Lupia hit a shot in the bottom of the 5th, hustling around the bases to beat Legion's throw at the plate.  The Velvet Fog then fielded the last ball put in play by Legion for a 6-3 put-out to end the game.  Carter Joltin Jarvis had a break out game going 2-3 at the plate and making a stellar tag at 3rd to thwart a would-be stealer.  Mikie the Machine Stillwell pitched 4 2/3 innings of 2 run ball and Michael the Killa Pilla pitched 1 1/3 with 2 strikeouts.
