*** Herbs blasts Vets

May 11th, 2019

Shoeless Sheridan shined for Herbs today with 2 hits and 3 walks, reaching base safely in 5 plate appearances.  He also pitched 2.2 innings, striking out 4 and walking only 1.  Tony the Creation of Devastation had a big day on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings and striking out 9.  He also contributed 3 hits and 5 RBI's at the plate, including a line-drive double that was a foot away from being a round tripper.  Lucas the Splinter Clausen added 2 hits and 4 RBI's of his own.  Adrean the Sorcerer Searcy had 2 screeching doubles for the Vets and Flash Ferguson went 2-3 with 2 runs and had an outstanding day on the hill; Connor the Truth Wiggins had a solid performance at the plate going 2-3 with 3 runs scored.  Herbs was flashing leather, though, with Jackson Say Hey Caye turning a double play and Tony the C. of D. doubling up the Vets after a sharp-hit grounder.
